Directions: In a blender or mini-porcessor, combine chopped pepper, ginger and brown sugar. Process to make a coarse paste.
Add remaining ingredients. Process again to make a smooth, thick puree.
Yield: a generous 1/2 cup, enough for 1-1/2 to 2 pounds meat, poultry or seafood.
