layers adding about 1/4 cup sugar with each layer until the fruit reaches
the neck of the jar. Pour in enough brandy to cover, stir and seal
tightly.

and egg yolk until smooth. Blend in the flour until the mixture blends

well, and put into a greased lined loaf tin and bake for approximately 1
hour at 180C (GM4 375F). The cake is delicious, and served in slices with a

2. Mix 3 tbsp. honey with juice of two oranges and pour over fruit; Chill.
3. Just before serving add sliced bananas, walnuts, coconut and if desired
1/2 c. liquer flavouring (brandy, Kirsch etc.)
Serve drained
with yog Fruit sweet and sugar free - irish soda bread raisins. When the water returns to a boil, turn off the heat. Let the
raisins plump in the water for at least 10 minutes. Drain the raisins,
saving any raising water for another use. Set raisins aside.
