Honey Soy Chicken



Ingredients:
1 3-pound broiler-fryer cut up
2 Ounce(s) honey
1/4 Teaspoon(s) ground ginger
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 Pound(s) fresh or 16-ounce package frozen chinese pea pods
1 large carrot, thinly sliced
1 15 ounce can straw mushrooms, or 16-ounce can whole mushroom
1 Tablespoon(s) sesame or salad oil
1 Tablespoon(s) sesame seeds
Directions: Place chicken in 12 x 8 inch dish. Combine honey, ginger, garlic, and 1 tablespoon soy sauce; brush half of honey mixture over chicken. Cook, covered with waxed paper, on high 13 to 15 minutes, until checken juices run clear when tested with a knife, brushing with remaining honey mixture. Cook fresh or frozen pea pods, carrot, and 2 tablespoons water, covered, on high 4 minutes; drain. Stir in mushrooms, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and 1 tablespoon soy sauce. Cook on High 1 to 1 1/2 minutees, until heated through. Serve with chicken.
