Herbed Pasta Alfredo



Ingredients:
1 Tablespoon(s) margarine
1/4 Cup(s) green onions,chopped
2 garlic, minced
1 Tablespoon(s) flour
1 Can(s) evaporated milk
1/4 Cup(s) parmesan cheese,grated
1/4 Cup(s) romano cheese,grated
1/2 Teaspoon(s) dried thyme
1/2 Teaspoon(s) dried basil
1/4 Teaspoon(s) dillweed
6 Cup(s) hot cooked seashell macaroni
1 green onion,optional, for garnish
Directions: Melt margarine in a saucepan over medium heat; add green onions and garlic and saute 2 minutes. Add flour, and stir well. Gradually add milk, and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to medium-low, and cook 3 minutes or until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in cheeses and herbs. Serve over macaroni. Garnish with green onion. Suggestion: Saute red and green pepper strips with the onion. Add chicken breast strips.
