Harvest Pear Pie



Ingredients:
6 pears
160/409 Pound(s) sugar
163/2500 Pound(s) corn starch
39/2500 Quart(s) lemon juice
2 pie crust
489/10000 Pound(s) butter
1 Ounce(s) cinnamon
1 Teaspoon(s) nutmeg
Directions: Core,skin and slice pears and treat to prevent browning. Hand toss pears, sugar, corn starch, lemon juice, cinnamon and nutmeg together in a bowl. Place bottom pie shell into a pie pan and fill with the pear mixture. Cut butter into small peices and place on top of mixture. Place second pie shell on top and secure the edges. Be sure to cut slits for ventilation. Cover edges with foil. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture right after you take it out.
