Directions: *note: water should cover the eggs by 1 inch, so use a tall pan, and limit
cooking to 2 dozen eggs at a time.
1. Lay the eggs in the pan and add the amount of cold water specified. Set
over high heat and bring just to the boil; remove from heat, cover the pan,
and let sit exactly 17 minutes.
2. When the time is up, transfer the eggs to the bowl of ice cubes and
water. Chill for 2 minutes while bringing the cooking water to the boil
again. (This 2 minute chilling shrinks the body of the egg from the shell.)
3. Transfer the eggs (6 at a time only) to the boiling water, bring to the
boil again, and let boil for 10 seconds - this expands the shell from the
egg. Remove eggs, and place back into the ice water.

Eggs motul style * There should be about 1/2 cup of the shredded cheese. In a large
saucepan, soak the beans overnight in the water. (Or bring to
boiling, simmer for 2 minutes, cover and let stand for 1 hour.) Do

in mayonnaise, mustard, salt and pepper. Fill whites with egg yolk mixture,
heaping it lightly. Arrange eggs on large serving plate. Cover and
refrigerate up to 24 hours. 6 Sunflower eggs * 1 1/2 cups of the fine noodles should be 3 oz. ** Tomatoes
should be peeled, cored and chopped. *** Use 1 4-oz can of green
chile peppers that have been rinsed, seeded
and chopped. In a medium skillet, cook the noodles in the 2 tbs

In a mixing bowl, beat thawed egg substitute, milk and seasonings together;
set aside.
Trim crust from bread. Pour just enough egg mixture to cover the bottom of

hot. Add turkey and cook until browned, stirring constantly. Drain.
Add taco sauce to turkey and stir. Remove turkey and place in serving

Bayd bi banadoura (eggs with tomatoes) Wash, peel and quarter the tomatoes. Stew gently until soft in
covered pan with several tablespoons of water. Pour into baking dish
or skillet. Beat eggs well and season. Pour over tomatoes. Cook over
low flame without stirring until eggs are s Scrambled eggs 1. Heat 2 tablespoons butter in skillet (NOT a non-stick!) on LOW heat.

Broken glass (hard tack candy) The following is a recipe for "broken glass", a hard candy. We often made this when I was a kid. We would flavor one batch with cinnamon oil (and color it red), and flavor another with wintergreen (and color it green).
Mix all ingredients and Brunch eggs #3 Brown and drain sausage. Mix together eggs, milk, dry mustard and salt.
Stir in cubed bread. Add cheddar cheese and sausage. Pour into greased
9x13 baking pan. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350~F for 1 hour. Test with

Optional: Can add Cheese and mushroom brunch eggs 1. For sauce, in a saucepan melt the 3 tablespoons margarine or butter.
Stir in flour. Cook and stir for 1 minute. Add milk all at once. Cook and
stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Stir in the cheeses. Cook
and stir over medium heat until Sambal goreng telur (spiced eggs) Place the sliced eggs in a serving dish. In separate pan, heat up peanut oil. Saute onion, garlic, candle-nut, laos, sambal oelek and salt. Be cautious to avoid burning. Add brown sugar, salam leaf and coconut milk. Bring mixture to boil and then simmer f Boiled crabs Fill a large (10-quart) stockpot one-third full with water.
Add the lemons, potatoes, corn, onions, salt, and peppers.
Cover and bring to a boil over high heat. Let boil for 10 minutes.

sm Scrambled eggs benedict Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Wrap the ham slices in aluminum foil, place in the oven, and heat for 10 minutes. In a small saucepan, heat the chicken broth until it just starts to simmer.

Boiled raisin muffins Directions Simmer raisins with just enough water to cover them for 20
minutes.Cool. Cream butter and shortening mixture. Add egg and sugar and
beat well. Add raisins and the water they simmered in to creamed mixture
and stir. Add the dry ingred Deviled eggs with sun-dried tomato Can be prepared in 45 minutes or less.
Halve the eggs lengthwise, force the yolks through a sieve into a bowl, and
stir in the minced tomatoes, the mayonnaise, the sour cream, the vinegar,
and salt and pepper to taste. Transfer the filling to a past Broiled portobello mushrooms with scrambled eggs Remove and discard stems from mushrooms and rinse and pat dry. Brush
mushrooms with oil on all sides, and then salt and pepper generously.

7-minute boiled crawfish Fill a 60 qt pot 1/2 full. Add all ingredients except crawfish and bring to
a boil. Add crawfish. When it boils agains, time for 7 minutes. Remove from
fire, add one bucket cold water. Let it soak for one hour.
