Ingredients: 2 Ripe plum tomatoes 1 small Bunch of watercress, washed 1 Tablespoon(s) Olive oil 4 Ounce(s) Shrimp, peeled, deveined 1 Teaspoon(s) Tiny capers, drained 1 Teaspoon(s) Fresh lemon juice 1 Slice(s) Crusty peasnt bread, toasted 1 Garlic clove, halved |
Directions: Most people hate to clean shrimp, but these days they're sold peeled
and deveined. Or buy a pound of shrimp when you have some extra time,
clean them and freeze in 1/4 pound portions to have on hand. It's
less expensive that way!
1. Place tomato pieces in a bowl.
2. Pinch off delicate stems and leaves from bunch of watercress to
measure 1/2 cup; reserve.
3. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a nonstick skillet over high heat. Add
shrimp; cook 4 minutes, stirring and shaking skillet. When cooked
through, add to tomatoes.
4. Toss capers and lemon juice with tomatoes and shrimp. Season with
salt and pepper to taste.
5. Brush one side of toast (crostini) with remaining teaspoon oil. Rub
oiled side of toast with garlic, cut-side down, using both halves of
garlic or to taste.
6. Place toast in the center of a large dinner plate. Spoon shrimp and
tomatoes over toast. Top with watercress and serve immediately.
Serves one: 371 calories, 19 grams fat, 173 milligrams cholesterol.

Hellmann's chicken potato salad ole In medium bowl combine tomatoes, green onions, chopped cilantro, jalapeno
peppers and 1 teaspoon of the salt; set aside. In large bowl combine
mayonnaise, lime juice, chili powder, cumin and remaining 1/2 teaspoon
salt. Add potatoes, chicken, y Fall spinach salad 3 tb White wine vinegar
1/2 c Olive oil
2 tb Dijon mustard
1 x Shallot, minced
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper

15 c Spinach leaves
2 x Avocados, peeled, pitt Shrimp in brandy cream sauce melt butter over medium heat, add the garlic and saute for about a minute. add the shrimp, sprinkle with salt and saute for about 2 minutes. remove the pan from the heat, add the brandy, ignite with a long match. remove the shrimp to a bowl and set asid 24 hour layered garden salad container with lid. (Any combination and/or quantity of salad ingredients
can be used to suit your tastes or preferences.) On top of this salad
mixture, layer the next three ingredients in the order listed. (These
ingredients should not be altered Carrot-walnut salad Using the grater attachment on a food processor or a hand grater (on the
side with the large holes), shred the carroet.
Transfer the carrots to a bowl and add the parsley, walnuts, vinegar, oil,
salt, and pepper. Toss well to thoroughly saturate t Fruit salad with ginger syrup Make syrup:
Bring water, sugar, and ginger to a boil in a 2-quart saucepan, then stir
until sugar is dissolved. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, then
remove from heat and let steep 15 minutes. Pour ginger syrup through a

lemon juice, garlic, salt & pepper. Pour dressing over tomato mixture.

great toppi Cranberry-strawberry salad Mix jello, add strawberries, cranberry sauce and pineapple.
Put 1/2 in dish and refrigerate until set. Spread sour cream on top of
that. Then add remaining mixture and return to refrigerator.
