Green-Chilli Corn Sticks



Ingredients:
6 Ounce(s) Yellow cornmeal
160/409 Pound(s) all-purpose flour
163/1250 Pound(s) granulated sugar
1/3 Ounce(s) baking powder
1/12 Ounce(s) salt
1/6 Quart(s) skim milk
137/4377 Quart(s) vegetable oil
1 egg
1 Can(s) 8oz, Drained corn, whole kernel
1 Ounce(s) 4.5oz, Drained chopped green chili
Directions: Combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl; make a well in the center of the mixture. Combine milk, oil and egg; stir well. Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moist. Fold in corn and chilies. Coat cast iron corn stick pans heavily with cooking spray; place in a 400 deg oven for 10 minutes. Spoon batter evenly into pan. Bake for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove corn sticks from pan immediately; server warm.
