surprisingly low in calories.
In a small saucepan, sprinkle the gelatin over the water. Place
over low heat and stir consstantly until the gelatin dissolves, about
3 minutes. Set aside.
Green rice In 12-cup casserole, cover and microwave stock and wild rice at High for
10 minutes. Stir in brown rice; cover and microwave at Medium (50%) for 45
minutes or until tender. Let stand for 15 minutes. In microwaveable dish
melt butter with oil. A Fish skewers with taarragon vinaigrette Shrimp or sea scallops would also work well in this recipe. Serve with:
Grilled plum tomatoes, herbed orzo salad, and grilled French bread.
Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat). Whisk oil, vinegar, shallots,
tarragon, and mustard in small bowl to blend. Se Barbecued goose breast with dried apricot vinaigrette Preheat barbecue or grill. Remove the skin and fat from goose breast. In a
mixing bowl, stir together olive oil, sugar, salt, cinnamon and cayenne.
Place goose breast in marinade and let stand overnight covered in

each). Food Exchange Oriental green beans. Cook beans til tender; drain and set aside. Combine soy, oil and sugar. Spray skillet with no stick cooking spray. Add garlic; cook 20-30 seconds. Add beans and soy mixture. Cook 2 - 4 minutes, turning to coat. Cook til most liquid is absorbed.

Comments: This is very simple to make. Try it on any of your favorite green salads. Be sure to use a good Nicoise vinaigrette Combine all ingredients except oil in a blender; finely chop. With blender
running, slowly add oil until completely incorporated.

2. If using fresh tomatillos, peel them out of the paper and boil them a scant two minutes, or until they change color from light to darker green. Be careful handling them, as White and green bean salad with tomatoes and basil In a deep pot, cover beas with 6-8 cups cold water. Add the thyme-salt.
Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to a gentle simmer,
skimming away any foam. Cover and cook until the beans are tender, about
90 minutes. Let cool in broth.
In a la Green oaks cheese spread Mix cheese with butter until thoroughly blended. Add remaining ingredients
and stir until well mixed. Pack in a crock, cover and refrigerate. Bring
to room temperature to serve with crackers.
Barley stuffed green peppers Preheat oven to 350F. Heat the oil in a large skillet. Add mushrooms
and onions and cook, stirring until the onions are browned. Stir in
the barley, parsley, thyme and pepper(ground). Stir in the cheese; set

Place a heavy sauce pot over medium heat and let preheat for about 3

Drizzle a bit of olive oil and season with a little salt. Throw it on the BBQ but keep an eye on it. Overcooked beans are yucky.

thoroughly to remove salt. Put into a bowl with the garlic and ginger; mash
into a paste and set aside. Slice the beef against the grain into 1/4-inch

and dill. Cover; bring to a boil. Separate beans with a fork, reduce
heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until tender. Drain. Stir in butter

Pancetta green beans Cook beans in large pot of boiling salted water until crisp-tender, about 4
minutes. Drain. Transfer to bowl of ice water; cool 5 minutes. Drain.
Transfer beans to paper towels and pat dry.

Cold asparagus with sesame-ginger vinaigrette *To toast sesame seeds, put them in a small skillet and heat, stirring
frequently, until fragrant and just golden. Watch carefully.
Break off any woody parts of the asparagus stalks. Bring lightly salted
