Ingredients: -1 1 Teaspoon(s) cream of tarter 1 1/3 Cup(s) butter flavored crisco 1 1/2 Teaspoon(s) vanilla 2 Tablespoon(s) pure maple syrup |
Directions: Sift together the Flour, Soda, Tarter, and Salt, and set aside.
Cream (Beat) the Crisco, Vanilla, and maple syrup until well mixed,
then add the sugar gradually creaming until light and fluffy. Add
Egg yolks one at a time and be
at well after each is added. Slowly
add the Sifted dry ingredients and beat until just blended. Make
Balls 1 1/2 inch (Approx) in Diameter and place 2 inches apart on an
ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 9 to 11 min or until
the edges just start to turn golden brown. Allow to cool at least
two min on the sheet before removing to a rack until completely cool.
This recipe was created by accident while I was trying to salvage
another cookie disaster. We gave these away to many of our friends
and relatives in our Xmas cookie assortment and they got rave
reviews. (Go Figure) Barry...

Anise cookies 2 With a heavy-duty mixer, mix the eggs with sugar at medium speed for 30
minutes. Add anise seeds and extract, baking powder, and then flour.
Combine gently just until mixed. Drop by small ts, about 1 1/2" apart, on a
greased cookie sheet. Let Brown bread with maple cream Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl, stir well. Stir in dried cranberries. Add buttermilk, molasses, and 1/3 cup maple syrup to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.
Pour batter into a 13-ounce coffee can heavily coated with cooking spra 7 cup cookies Blend sugar, oleo, egg, oil and vanilla. Mix well. By hand, add dry
ingredients; mix well. Chill dough 1 hour or overnight. Shape dough into
small balls. Place on greased cookie sheet. Flatten with glass dipped in
