Gingerbread House Frosting



Ingredients:
3 whites egg
1 Pound(s) powdered sugar
1/12 Ounce(s) cream of tartar
Directions: Beat egg whites until foamy, sift together powdered sugar and cream of tartar. Add gradually to egg whites while eating approximately 7 to 10 minutes, o r until icing holds a strong peak. Keep icing covered with a damp cloth at all times to keep it from drying out. Apply icin on gingerbread house with spatula and/or pastry bag, then add candy and decorations by applying to royal icing to complete your gingerbread house. *The amount of sugar that your recipes needs will vary based on the size of the egg whites as well as the moisture content of your powdered sugar. Suggested candies: Colored sugar, candy canes, tootsie rolls, coconut, bubblegum tape.
