Carribean ginger pepper sauce In a saucepan, blend the salt, cornstarch, sugar, lime juice, and
pineapple juice until smooth.
Premix and gradually stir in the water, soy sauce, ginger, Jalapeno,
and Cayenne. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly unyil the
sauce is t Tossed salad with radishes, red onion, bell peppers, carrots Glazed salmon Mix together glaze ingredients and coat salmon. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes and baste/add more glaze as it cooks. Yum!
Asparagus salad with pickled ginger Wash asparagus spears. Use sharp paring knife to peel off tough white skin
on lower stem and cut off the very end. When steamer is hot, steam spears
until barely cooked. They are overcooked when the color is olive. Remove
from steamer, drain a Whole fried fish with ginger and chilli In a wok, deep fry fish in very hot oil until crispy and brown on both sides being careful not to break the tail. Drain and serve on a large platter topped with sauce. Scatter sliced spring onions and torn herbs over the fish.

Heat oil in wok and f Swedish ginger cookies (pepparkakor) Heat molasses in small saucepan to boiling point. The boil 1 minute.
Add sugar and butter and stir until butter is melted. Cool. Beat in
egg. Sift together flour, salt, soda and spices. Add to first
mixture and mix thoroughly. Cover bowl ti Bean curd with ginger Cut tofu into 1/2 inch cubes. Soak tree ears in warm water till soft.
Drain & chop coarsely. Heat oil in a wok & when very hot add ginger,
garlic & scallions. Add tofu, stirring quickly. Add tree ears,
chilies & peas. Stir. Glazed bacon cut bacon in hald and arrange on a wore rack in a single layer, no overlaps. mix sugar, flour and pecans and sprinkle over bacon.
bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
Zucchini shreds with ginger Heat the oil in a large frying pan over high heat for 3 minutes. Add the
cumin, let the oil darken slightly (about 10 seconds) and add ginger and
chili. Cook for 30 seconds, stirring frequently.
Add the zucchini and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes. Algerian carrots Cook's Note: Excellent served with poultry or whitefish.
