Christmas eggnog french toast In a shallow bowl, mix the eggnog, and and cinnamon. stirring well. Slice the croissants lengthwise. Melt one tablespoon of butter in a skillet or on a griddle. Dip 1 croissant half in the batter and place in the griddle. Repeat with the remaining halves Simple tomato sauce Heat oil with garlic in medium saucepan over medium heat.
When garlic starts to sizzle, add tomatoes, basil, and salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer until sauce thickens slightly, 15 to 20 minutes.

Option: Spicy Cocktail - add 1 t prepared horseradish, 1 crushed

Three tomato salad Layer mushrooms & sliced tomatoes down the centre of a large platter.
Ring with the halved yellow & cherry tomatoes.
In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients & drizzle
this over the tomatoes. Cover & marinate a French potato salad 1. Rinse and drain the potatoes but do not peel them. Put them in a large saucepan. Add cold water to cover and bring to the boil. Simmer for about 20 minutes, or until tender.
2. Cut the potatoes lenghwise in half. Cut each half into thin slices. 3. P Tasty tahini dressing Tahini, also called sesame paste, is available natural food stores. This is
nice on fish, poultry, tofu, omelets or salads. Blend all ingredients
together with wire whisk. Makes about 1/2 cup. Food Exchange per serving:

Heat tomato sauce with butter and pepper. Add flour (enough to thicken). Finish with garam masala.
Fry the bread slices in oil, then cut them into croutons. (Salt or season as you like.)

Corn bread dressing Mix a little of the cornbread stuffing mix with cornbread.
Cut up apple, celery and onion and add to mix.

the South. At one of the Southern hotels they were served a salad dressing
which more than delighted their tastes. Asking if they might have the
recipe, they were told to leave their French onion soup 2 Cover and cook onion in margarine in a 3 quart saucepan over low heat,
stirring occasionally, until tender, 20 to 30 minutes. Add beef broth,

and chill OVERNIGHT.
Roll out on floured Zucchini-tomato salad Cut Zucchini into 2 inch strips. Slice Tomatoes. Place Zucchini, tomatoes and chick peas in bowl. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over vegetables. Chill about 2 hours, covered. Stire occasionally. Remove vegetables from dressing to serve.

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir to dissolve the sugar.
Refrigerated in a covered container, the dressing will keep up to a week.
