Ingredients: 1 egg 1/8 Quart(s) milk 1 Pound(s) (for frying) butter 163/5000 Pound(s) (add extra for sprinkling) sugar 4 day-old, crusts removed white bread 2 Ounce(s) ground cinnamon 2/3 raspberries |
Directions: Mix the respberries with 1 teaspoon o
f the sugar and set aside.
Whisk together the egg, milk, cinnamon, and remaining sugar and pour into a shallow dish.
Cut the bread slices in half to make triangles and dip them into the egg mixture until saturated.
Heat the little butter in a skillet until gently sizzling. Fry the bread triangles in the butter until crisp and lightly colored on the outside.
Serve the toasted triangles hot, with the raspberries sprinkles on top.
