Directions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Coat inside of shallow 5 to 6 cup baking dish
with Pam. Core, pare and quarter apples; cut into thin slices. Combine with
raisins in prepared baking dish. Gradually stir juice concentrate into
cornstarch in small bowl until smooth. Pour over fruit mixture.
Prepare Topping: Cut slices of bread into small cubes. Place in medium size
bowl. Combine melted butter, sugar and cinnamon in small saucepan over low
heat. Mix until well blended. Slowly pour over bread cubes, tossing gently
with a wooden spoon to blend ingredients.
Sprinkle topping over fruit. Cover with foil. Bake in preheated oven fro 30
minutes. Remove foil and bake 20 to 25 minutes until apples are tender.
Serve hot or warm.
Nutrient Value Per Serving: 266 Calories, 2 g Protein, 7 g Fat, 51 g
Carbohydrate, 109 mg Sodium and 16 mg Cholesterol.

Apple scones Preheat oven to 400 deg F.
Mix together dry ingredients. Cut in shortening as you would for a pie
crust. Stir in apples and raisins. Add enough juice to make a stiff dough.
On floured surface, roll dough about 1/2" thick. Cut into triangles and
bake Apple bagel broil Lightly toast bagel and spread with butter or margarine while still hot.
Top each bagel with apple slices and sprinkle with sinnamon sugar. Place
cheese slices on each bagel and broil until cheese is bubbly. Makes 2 half
bagels.
Apple slaw Sprinkle sliced apples with lemon juice. Mix with cabbage, celery, carrot, and onion. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise and celery salt. Toss with apple

boil and cook 30 to 40 minutes or until tender. Remove from water,
peel and mash. Add butter, apple juice, salt and pepper. Stir in

This is more typical of Pennsylvania Dutch cooking than anything else. The apples add a sweetness to the harsh taste of that old lifesaver, cabbage. This dish works well as an accompaniment to most meals.
Heat a large Dutch Apple brownies Cream margarine, sugar and eggs. Add flour, soda, baking powder and cinnamon, mix well. Stir in apples and nuts. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
Apple dumplings Cut apples and roll each piece with a crescent roll and arrange in a 9 x 13 pan. Melt butter, add sugar and cinnamon. Pour over apples. Pour Mountain Dew over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Apple crisp 5 or more apples
1 cup sugar
1 t. vanilla
1 cup brown sugar
1 ? cups flour
Peel apples and slice.
Place in salt water for 30 minutes
Put apples in a greased baking dish
Put 1 cup sugar and 1 t. vanilla on apples
Take:
1 cup brown sugar
? c. butter
1 ? c. Appelkoek (apple cake) Peel and cut apples into eighths (wedges). Sift together flour, baking
powder and salt with 4 tablespoons of the sugar. Cut in butter/margarine.
Combine egg and milk and add to flour mixture. Turn batter into greased 8
inch square cake pan. Press Apple & spinach salad In a large salad bowl combine the spinach, apples, onions and the walnuts.
In a small bowl, combine the lemon juice, mustard, sugar and add the oil
in a stream, whisking, and whisk the dressing until it is combined well.
Whisk in salt and pepper to taste Fettucini clams sage & apple smoked bacon Render bacon slowly until crispy. Remove bacon and pour off 1/2 the fat. Add clams, sage and shallots. Saute until shallots caramelize slightly. Add wine cover and reduce by half. Remove clams as they open. Add cream and seasonings. Reduce by half. Down and dirty apple chutney dip Mix the applesauce and hone, blending well, and add the rains. Blend in the
lemon juice and vinegar, mixing well. Add all of the other ingredients,
blending well. Cover and chill. Makes about 1 3/4 cups of dip SUGGESTED
DIPPERS: Pound Cake Cube Ginger apple crisp Heat oven to 400 degress. Spray 8" square (1 1/2 quart) baking dish with
nonstick cooking spray. In a small bowl, combine cornflakes, brown sugar,
flour and ginger; mix well. Stir in melted butter until will mixed. Place
apples in spray Apple-pie bread Combine ingredients according to manufacturer's directions. Note: This is a
corrected version of the prior post.
1 Pound:
1 ts active dry yeast 1 ts cinnamon
3 1/2 tb sugar

Pork loin with cranberry apple stuffing 1. Butterfly and pound the roast to 3/4 inch thick.
2. Soak cranberries in 1/2 cup boiling water. Drain after 15 minutes and squeeze out extra liquid.
3. Prepare stuffing according to directions.
4. Saute the onions in 2 Tbsp oil until translucent (a Apple pie with port with cheddar cheese crust Combine sugar and cornstarch in large saucepan. Stir in apple juice, port,
butter and lemon peel. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils. Add
apples and cook gently until barely tender.
