Ingredients:
4 1/2 Pound(s) beef stew meat
2 large, sliced onion, white
3 diced tomato
1 Pound(s) mashed garlic
1 Slice(s) mashed, fresh ginger root
163/2500 Pound(s) curry powder, indian
1/6 Ounce(s) turmeric powder
3 Pound(s) cinnamon sticks
1/4 Ounce(s) salt
8 105/304 Ounce(s) peas, frozen
2 diced potato, baking
Directions: Cut meat into serving pieces, wash or rinse. Add 1/2 cup cooking oil in pot, add onions and let braise till light brown. Add garlic and ginger which have been mashed. Add curry powder, tumeric and cinnamon. Add meat, cook 15 minutes. Add tomatoes, peas and potatoes. Simmer till tender, adding warm water if needed to keep from sticking. Place leaves on top. Serve over rice (Basmati is good) or serve with Naan.

Comments: Very Good! Use fresh ginger, it is needed! Replace beef with chicken if desired.
