Using a scoop to measure; saute meatballs until browned.
Put in a large sauce pan and cover with chunky tomato sauce or marinara and
bake at 350F for 45 minutes.
Green tomato chutney Cut up tomatoes.
Peel and chop apples and onions.
Tie spice in muslin bag.
Put all ingredients in saucepan and boil until tender and thick.
Remove spice and pour into hot dry jars.
Tie down.
Spice vinegar may be used instead of mixed spice.
Curried pumpkin cauliflower soup Melt butter in a large, heavy saucepan over medium heat. Add cauliflower;
saute 5 minutes or until almost tender. Remove cauliflower with slotted
spoon to medium bowl. Reserve.
Add onion and curry powder to saucepan; saute about 5 minutes or until Helen's curried chicken Chop onion, seed & dice pepper, chop celery and dice chicken. Saute
onion & celery in marg in large shallow pan. Saute til onion is
soft, about 5 minutes. Stir in curry and flour, cook 1 minute. Add
tomatoes, and green pepper, cook stir Curried apples and shrimp Saute onion and celery in butter for 2 minutes. Add apple slices and
saute another minute. Blend in curry and flour, add bouillon cube and
water, stirring until well blended. Add shrimp, cover and simmer for 3
minutes, or until shrimp in no longer translu Cousin leda's banana chutney Peel and mash bananas. In a large casserole dish combine all of
the ingredients. Bake in a 350~ oven for about 2 hours, stirring
occasionally.
When thickened, ladle into sterilized jars and seal.

saucepan, or Dutch oven and saute the onion with 1 clove of the garlic
until it begins to turn translucent. Add the ginger, turmeric, and curry
powder and saute for a few minut African spiced shrimp with tabbouleh and tomato chutney Steam tabbouleh together with scallions, parsley, tomatoes, celery, sweet
red peppers and mint. When done add lemon juice and salt and pepper to
taste. In a small sauce pot, combine chutney ingredients. In a medium sauce
pan, combine all of the ch Winter apple chutney In a saucepan, combine all ingredients and bring to a boil over moderately
high heat, stirring constantly for 15 minutes. If microwaving, combine
all ingredients in a glass bowl. Microwave uncovered on high until
slightly thickened and bubbli Pineapple-mango salsa Twist crown from pineapple. Cut pineapple lengthwise into quarters.
Remove fruit from shell, taking care to cut out any "eyes" that
remain; core fruit. Chop into small pieces to make 1 1/2 cups; reserve

Soak the roll in the water for about 10 minutes. Squeeze it dry; place in

saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring, until the sugar is
dissolved. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture

lightly browned, about 15 minutes. Combine with remaining ingredients

skillet over medium high heat. Add onion and saute until golden about 4

simmer 10 minutes. Drop in prepared meatballs (below) and carrots. Cook 10
minutes. Add celery. Simmer until vegetables are tender 10-15 minutes.

Curry and chutney salad Combine all ingredients. Salt and pepper to taste.
Chili sauce meatballs Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, salt and pepper in a bowl. Mix thouroughly. In a crock pot combine chili sauce, grape jelly, brown sugar, lemon juice, and worcestershire sauce. Roll meat mixture into small meat balls. Brown meat balls in a skillet Curried lentil pie In a large pot, heat oil. Fry onion & garlic for a couple of minutes. Add
potatoes, carrots & bell pepper & continue to fry for a few more minutes,
stirring occasionally. Add spices & stir fry for a couple of seconds. Add
lent Potato tikki with almond-cilantro chutney Boil potatoes until fork tender. Cool slightly, peel & force through
a coarse sieve to produce smooth mashed potatoes. Add almonds, bell
pepper, jalapeno pepper, lime juice, cilantro & arrowroot. Season
with salt & pepper & mix Curried mayonnaise Mix saffron threads and water into a paste. Combine all ingredients
and process until smooth. Makes about 1 cup. Will keep short
periods if refrigerated. Serve with ham sandwiches, tuna salad, cold
turkey.
Tom jones' curried chicken 1/4 ts Ground saffron
1/4 ts Ground ginger
1 TB Curry powder
2 TB Soy sauce
2 md Yellow onions -- chopped
2 Garlic cloves -- pressed
3 TB Vegetable oil
1/2 ts Ground red pepper
: Meatballs with sauce Grind sirloin and dice cheese into 1/4" cubes. Mix onion powder, garlic
powder and cayenne pepper, with the eggs, ground meat and sirloin. Roll
into 2-1/2 inch balls. With a spoon make a hole in the center of each
meatball, put in a cube of Apple and prune chutney Delicious with pork, ham or cheese.
About 6 cups
Bring all the ingredients to the boil in a fairly large pan. Reduce the
heat. Simmer (with a lid on the pan) for approximately 2 hours. When the
mixture is thick enough, pour the chutney in steril Curried chicken dinner * 6 oz each
