Ingredients: 1 stick butter or margarine 2 c light cream 1 sm bunch chopped green onion 2 c swiss cheese, grated 1/2 Cup(s) parsley, finely chopped 1/2 c sherry or vermouth, dry 1/2 Cup(s) celery, finely chopped 1 x cayenne pepper 1 Can(s) (small) mushrooms, drained 1 x salt, to taste 3 Tablespoon(s) flour 1 lb white crab meat (or shrimp) |
Directions: Melt butter in heavy saucepot. Saute vegetables until soft. Blend in flour
and add cream. Heat until thickened. Add cheese and heat un
til it has
melted. Add wine, cayenne pepper, and salt. Fold in crab meat or shrimp.
Heat gently for 8 to 10 minutes
Serve with french bread or in patty shells

Add 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger root, 1/2 to 1 teaspoon fresh
minced garl African malayan curry powder (for meat and fish) Curry powders are an important part of African cooking due to the heavy
influence of Arabic and Indian cuisine in Africa. Curry powders are made
from different proportions of spices, dried and ground. Spices can be
