Corned Beef and Cabbage in Guinness

Ingredients: 6 medium white potato 1 cabbage 417/10000 Ounce(s) black pepper 417/10000 Ounce(s) ground allspice 13/625 Ounce(s) ground cloves 417/10000 Ounce(s) ground cinnamon 1 bay leaves 6 Pound(s) minced garlic 2 medium yellow onion 1 guiness stout 4 corned beef brisket 1 carrot |
Directions: Rinse corned beef under cold water, and pat dry.
In a Dutch oven, or other large pot with a cover, brown corned beef well on all sides over high heat.
Pour Guinness over the meat, and add enough water to just cover the brisket.
Add the onion, garlic, bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, allspice and pepper to the pot.
Bring pot to a boil and skim off any foam.
Reduce heat to a simmer. Cover pot and simmer for 3 hours.
Add carrots, then potatoes and then the cabbage wedges to the pot.
Cover pot, and continue cooking until meat and vegetables are tender (about 20-30 minutes).
Remove meat and vegetables to warm serving platter/dishes, leaving the cooking liquid/sauce in the pot.
Over high heat, bring the cooking liquid to a boil, and cook until the amount of liquid is reduced by half (about 10 minutes).
Slice the corned beef; serve with the vegetables and the sauce on the side.

3) Roast ribs at 450 degrees for about 20 minutes, turning once.
4) Prepare basting sauce. Mix all ingredients together.

Place steak on a grill rack coated with cooking spray; cook 6 minutes on
each side or until desired doneness.
Cut the steak diagonally across grain into thin slices; cut each slice into
2 inch pieces.

ingredients and cook over medium to low heat about 15 minutes. Stir
often. Cover pan during the last 5 minutes of cooking time. Stir once or
twice. Serve immediately. (Vegetabl Beef 'n barley dinner In a 4-quart saucepan or Dutch oven, brown ground beef. Add green pepper,
onion and garlic. Cook until onion is tender; drain. Add remaining
ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover. Simmer 45 to

2. Place beef in pan and cook until desired temperature.
3. Add mushrooms and scallions and saute for about a minute.
4. Pour in Brandy (be careful as Brandy will flame if skillet is very hot).

minutes. Mix all ingredients for dressing and let sit for about one hour.
Mix all salad ingredients, adding cooled and broken up toasted almonds and
sesame seeds. DO NOT COOK RAME Cabbage bake 1. If using cauliflower break into small florets. Boil in salted water for 5 min.
2. If using white cabbage, thinly slice it, mix with salt, let sit for 20-30min.
