Asian chicken with red onion salsa CHICKEN:
Mix all ingredients except chicken in shallow glass bowl or dish. Add
chicken; turn to coat with marinade. Cover and refrigerate 2-4 hours.
Meanwhile, prepare salsa.
Remove chicken from marinade; reserve marinade. Cover and grill
chicken 4-6 i Corn timbales If desired, set aside some corn and green onion for a garnish. In a med mixing bowl stir together eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Stir in remaining corn and green onions. Spray 2 individ 12 oz casseroles with Pam. Divide egg mixture between casseroles. Bake, Black bean chili burgers Bring 1 cup water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add quinoa, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Place black bean flakes in a medium-sized bowl. Stir in boiling water. Cover and let stand 5 minutes.
Combine 1/2 cup cooked quinoa with black beans, chili p Apple and black bean picadillo 1.In a large saute pan over moderately high heat, heat the oil until rippling, add the onions, garlic, salt (optional), and pepper and saute stirring frequently until onions are just golden.

of starter in the pan -- just what we need.
Add remaini 3-bean bake In large skillet, brown bacon until crisp; drain. Cool and crumble. Set
aside. Brown ground beef with medium onion; drain. Add together the ground
beef and bacon. Mix together baked beans, kidney beans, butter beans,

Skillet golden corn bread Pour cornmeal into boiling water; add shortening, sugar and salt. Mix well.
Stir in remaining ingredients; combine well. Spread in greased 8 inch
skillet; cover; cook over low heat for 12 minutes. Serves 6-8.
Pasta salad with tomatoes & corn Whisk 4 tablespoons oil, vinegar, basil and garlic in large bowl to blend.
Heat remaining 1 tablespoon of oil in heavy skillet over medium heat. Add corn; saute' 3 minutes. Add corn to dressing in bowl. Add tomatoes, pasta and cheese to blend.

Corn roasted with herb butter Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Spread each ear of corn with 1
tablespoon of herb butter. Wrap each ear in foil. Roast corn on
barbeque or broil 4 inches from heat 30 min or till kernels are
tender. Unwrap, detach husks and spread with Corn wheels with lime butter Using a cleaver or large knove, cut corn into 1-in lengths. In a
large pot, bring water to boil over high heat. Add corn wheels; cover
and boil 2 minutes. Melt butter, mix with lime juice. Transfer corn
to serving platter and drizzle with lime-but Old fashioned corn bread Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Sift together the flour, baking
powder, and salt. Add the cornmeal and stir until well mixed. In
another bowl combine the milk, eggs, honey or maple syrup, and the
butter or bacon drippings. Add the liquids to Salsa chicken wings Mix together and heat Salsa, butter and lemon juice. Brown wings in
French fryer or in pan. Place in baking dish, cover with salsa mix,
bake 30 minutes at 300F degrees.
Artichoke and kidney bean paella 1.Heat oil in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Cook onion and garlic in oil 3 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently, until crisp-tender.
2.Stir in broth and rice. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
3.Stir in remaining ingredients Summer corn chowder with bacon Saut bacon in large pot over medium-high heat until crisp and brown. Using
slotted spoon, transfer bacon to paper towels to drain.
Add corn, fennel, zucchini, and potatoes to drippings in pot; saut 5
minutes. Add 3 cups broth and simmer uncovered over med Another bean salad Combine sugar, salt vinegar in pan, bring to boil for 1 min. Cool.
Toss all other ingredients together and pour the vinegar mixture over them. Marinate for 24 hrs in refrigerator, stirring occasionally.

Quick corn salad In a large bowl, combined vegetables.
Stir in dressing.
Cover and refrigerate until served.
Over time the different flavors will blend, good immediately and even better a few hours later. Never had any left the next day, but would probably be ok.
Canadian corn chowder 2 tb shredded carrots
1 1/2 ts All-purpose flour
1/2 c Skim milk
3 oz Pared potatoes, diced
1/2 ts Salt
1 ds marjoram leaves
1/2 c Frozen whole kern
In 2-quart saucepan heat margarine until bubbly and hot; add bacon, onion, Butter bean casserole Boil beans until tender. Drain in collander. Mix beans, soup, onions, cheese, and bacon with good bit of bacon fat. Cover with bread crumbs. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
Bean salad Mix well. Add sugar, oil and vinegar to taste.
The longer it sits, the better it tastes.
Cuban black bean and rice salad In a large mixing bowl, combine the beans, rice, scallions, tomatoes,
cucumber, and, if desired, jalapeno. Blend in the oil, lime juice,
cilantro, and seasonings. Chill for 1 hour before serving.
TIP: For a slight twist, add 2 roasted, seeded, and c Potage de ble ( corn soup) Potage du Ble
This fresh corn soup from Renard Jacques, chef at Auberge Benedict Arnold
in St. Georges is rich and creamy. It may be made with frozen or canned
corn kernels, but it won't have the same delicate sweetness.
Bring water Budin de elote (corn pudding) Heat the oven to 300 F. Place a heavy baking sheet on the lower rack of
the oven. Butter a 1-quart baking or souffle dish and sprinkle with the
bread crumbs. Set aside.
Put the corn and milk into a food processor and process for 10 to 15

rice, egg substitute, bread crumbs, Mexican seasoning, ground red pepper,

8 patties about 1/2&quo Robb's red potato and green bean salad To prepare dressing, in blender container combine herb vinegar, olive
oil, vegetable oil, granulated sugar, paprika, salt, garlic, dry
mustard, caraway seeds, and celery seeds. Blend until well
emulsified.
Cut green beans on the diagonal in U.s. senate navy bean soup Soak beans 3-4 hours in a quart of water. Drain. Boil ham hocks in water.
Simmer at least 2 hours. Saute onions in lard until transparent, add
celery. Add potatoes and 2 cups of water from hocks. Cover and simmer 20
minutes. Add everything together includ Ham and corn bread 1. Heat oven to 350°F . Put corn, eggs, ham, flour, cornmeal, onions, butter, milk, sugar and baking powder in a large bowl; stir until just combined. Pour into greased 8-by-8-inch baking dish.

To make the salsa verde:
Mix together all the ingredients and season to taste with salt and pepper. Chill for 2 hours before serving.

oil until the onion is soft. Add the beans, bouillon, rosemary and water.
Simmer until heated thoroughly. For a thicker soup, remove 1/2 of the
