Directions: In a medium-size bowl, whisk the egg, flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, pepper and milk until well combined. Add corn and green onions. Mix well. In a clean, small bowl, with an electric mixer on high, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. fold into the corn mixture. On a nonstick griddle or in a 12-in nonstick skillet, heat the oil and butter over moderate heat. For each fritter, spoon a scant 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle, and cook for 3 minutes on each side until golden brown and set.

Ham corn chowder In a big saucepan combine corn,ham,milk,cheese,onions and seasons. Heat all

If I were having my teeth out again, I'd have soup. I think it's
comforting, and it's definitely easy to eat! My favorite is Jackie Manni Grilled pepper with corn Prepare grill or preheat broiler. Oil grid or broiler-pan rack.
Core, seed, and cut peppers in half lengthwise. Brush peppers with oil.
Combine corn, cilantro, cheese, lime juice, salt, and ground coriander in
a small bowl.
To grill: Grill peppe Corn bread dressing Mix a little of the cornbread stuffing mix with cornbread.
Cut up apple, celery and onion and add to mix.
Place cooked turkey neck trimmings and liver in cornbread mix. Add
poultry seasoning and bake in dish alone.
Barbecued beef and corn muffins Cut the steaks crosswise into 1" wide strips, reserve. Cook and stir onion in oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 3 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove and keep warm. Add beef strips (1/2 at a time) to skillet, cook and stir 2 to Corn sticks (surullitos) Combine the water and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour
in cornmeal slowly but steadily, and stir until the mixture is thick

Add soup, corn and chilies; mix well.
In an ungreased shallow 3-qt. baking dish, layer meat mixture, corn chips and enchilada sauce; top with cheese.
Bake, uncover Chiii corn pie 1. In large bowl, stir together 1 cup of the broth and egg until blended. Add stuffing; toss to mix well.
2. Grease 9-inch pie plate. Reserve 1/2 cup stuffing mixture; press remaining stuffing mixture on bottom and side of plate to form crust.
3. To Green-chilli corn sticks Combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl; make a well in the center of the mixture. Combine milk, oil and egg; stir well. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Wash chicken and pat dry. Mix
together eggs and milk. Separately mix corn flake crumbs, salt, and
pepper. Dip chicken into milk and egg mixture then into the crumb
mix Lentil and corn soup Saute the onion and carrots in a large saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the onions are translucent.
Add water, lentils, tomatoes, corn, and sweet potato. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 25 min. Add the tamari, ric Acorn squash corn bread dressing Preheat oven to 350 F. Slice acorn squash in half, dot with 1 tablespoon
butter and bake for 40 minutes. Cool, remove skin, chop into 1/2 inch
cubes. In mixing bowl, coarsely crumble stale bread and mix with crumbled
corn bread. Mix in apples and Corn casserole Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, and lightly grease a 9x9 baking dish. In a medium bowl, combine all incredients and then pour mixture into baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Cheesy corn bread Combine the dry ingredients, then stir in the cheddar cheese. Combine the
egg with the milk and oil. Stir into the cheddar mixture, mixing until
just moistened. Pour the mixture into a greased 9-inch square baking pan.
Bake at 425 degrees F. for 20 min Broncos (corn dogs) Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in corn meal. Cut
in shortening until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Combine egg and milk;
add to corn meal mixture, stirring until well blended. Insert wooden skewer
into end of each frank. Corn bread taco bake Brown meat; drain. Stir in next 5 ingredients; pour into a 8x12 inch baking
dish. Prepare corn muffin mix according to package directions, except add
1/2 can French Fried onions. Spoon around outer edge of casserole. Bake,
uncovered, at 400 degr Corn custard with crab Special equipment: 4 (2-oz) ceramic or glass ramekin
Make custard:
Cook corn in a 1-quart saucepan of boiling salted water until very tender,
3 to 5 minutes, and drain in a sieve.
Pure milk and hot corn in a blender until almost smooth, then force
through Bacon-corn muffins Grease twelve muffin cups; set aside. In a mixing bowl combine flour,
cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Make a well in the
center of the dry mixture; set aside.
In another bowl combine egg, buttermilk, and oil; add all at once Old fashioned corn bread Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Sift together the flour, baking
powder, and salt. Add the cornmeal and stir until well mixed. In
another bowl combine the milk, eggs, honey or maple syrup, and the
butter or bacon drippings. Add the liquids to Corn bread Stir together flour, cornmeal, baking soda, and salt.
Cream buttermilk and Crisco.
Add buttermilk mixture and the dry ingredients.
Stir
until well mixed.
Put into a greased 9 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.
Bake at 425° for 20 to 25 minutes or until center sprin Corn flake crust 1. Combine crumbs, sugar, and margarine in food processor. Process until well mixed.
2. Add 1 tsp. water. Process.
3. Add remaining water. Process again.
4. Press into lightly greased 9 in. pie plate.
5. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.
6. Cool sli Chicken and corn chowder Cook bacon in large pot over medium-high heat until crisp. Using slotted
spoon, transfer bacon to paper towels to drain.
Pour off all but 1/4 cup drippings from pot. Add butter to pot; melt over
medium-high heat. Add onions and 1 cup bell peppers. Saut un Scalloped corn Combine corn, eggs, green pepper, and salt; mix well. Spoon half of
mixture into a greased 1-1/2 quart casserole. Sprinkle with half of
cracker crumbs, and dot with 1 tablespoon butter. Repeat layers; pour
half-and-half over top.
Bake at Chipotle turkey cutlets with charred corn salsa Char corn in heavy medium nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, stirring
often, about 4 minutes. Set aside.
Sprinkle turkey on both sides with chile powder; sprinkle with salt. Heat 1
tablespoon oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add half of tu Spicy corn Thaw frozen corn or drain canned corn and set aside. Place the
ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, 1 fresh green chili, and the
onion in a mortar and grind with a pestle to form a smooth paste.
Alternatively, process in a food processor to a smo Corn chowder il Combine sausage, onion and green pepper in very large stock pan. Cook
over medium heat until sausage is brown and vegetables are tender;
for more crunchy vegetables, add them late into cooking time. Combine
4 cups milk and 1 cup flour, stirring we Corn timbales If desired, set aside some corn and green onion for a garnish. In a med mixing bowl stir together eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Stir in remaining corn and green onions. Spray 2 individ 12 oz casseroles with Pam. Divide egg mixture between casseroles. Bake, Mini corn dogs Mix together cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Stir in
milk, then add shortening. Fold in egg until mixture is smooth.
Insert a toothpick into the end of each tiny wiener, toward the
middle, leaving one inch of pick exposed. Holding Barbecued chicken and corn bread stuffing 1. Mix water, margarine, paprika and celery. Add stuffing. Mix lightly.
Spoon into 2 qt. shallow baking dish. Arrange chicken over stuffing. Spoon
barbecue sauce over chicken.
2. Bake at 400 degrees fro 35 minutes or until chicken is done. Serve w Mexican corn and potatoes * Use either 1 or 2 of the chiles that have been seeded and
chopped.
To your own taste. Cook and stir the chiles and onion in the
margarine in a 10-inch skillet until the onion is tender. Stir in the
remaining ingredients, cook, st Corn meal muffins Grease 12 2 1/2-inch muffin cups. Heat oven to 425 degrees F.
Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into medium-sized bowl. Add
cornmeal and stir to mix well.
In small bowl, beat eggs with fork. Add milk and oil. Add all at once to
dry ingredients Skillet corn pone Preparation time: 5 minutes Cooking time: about 25 minutes
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Pour about half the bacon grease into a
10-inch cast-iron skillet, place in the oven and heat until fat just barely
starts to smoke.

Twists Is anyone out there like me? I love the Bake-off cookbooks published
every year after the contest is over. This year's had some great recipes in
it and I will post Akkra (black eye pea fritters) Wash and soak dried peas over night in hot water. Remove out skins. Soak
again until fully swollen. Pound in a mortar until very smooth or use food
processor. Put aside in a bowl. Cut up geen peppers and process them. Add
to pea mixture. Both mus Diabetic kid's snackin' corn Pop the corn. This recipe is calculated on corn popped in an air type
popper without added fat for fewer calories.
Over low heat melt the butter or margarine with peanut butter until runny.
