Ingredients: 1 Quart(s) Non-fat milk 4 Eggs; lightly beaten 1/4 Cup(s) Ground nutmeg for garnish 1 Teaspoon(s) Grapes, green, seedless |
Directions: In a heavy saucepan, combine milk, lightly beaten eggs and powdered
sugar, and mix well using a wire whisk. Slowly bring to a simmer,
over low heat, for 5 minutes, stirring frequently with the whisk.
Remove from heat. Add vanilla extract and mix well. Refrigerate
until cold.
To serve, heat eggnog in the microwave, garnish with nutmeg, and
serve warm as a morning drink.
For a cold variation, pour mixture into blender container and add
one cup of crushed ice. Blend until frothy.
Makes 10 one cup servings.

Slow-cooked pulled pork In a crock pot, pour enough worcestershire sauce to make a pool that just covers the bottom of the pot.
Pack brown sugar over all sides of your pork shoulder.
Place shoulder in crock pot and cook on low for about 7 hours. After cooking, remove pork to a Doves cooked with wine and mushrooms * - drain mushrooms, and reserve liquid for sauce.

Twice-cooked vegetable soup 1. Heat 2 TB of the olive oil in a large, heavy-bottomed pot over med-high heat until hot but not smoking. Add carrots, onion, leek, celery and garlic, and season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring, until vegetables are softened but not brown (5 mins).
Festive creme eggnog Gradually add milk to marshmallow creme, mixing with electric mixer or wire wisk
until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in rum
and vanilla; fold in whipped topping. Chill. Mix well. Top with addtional whip Broth cooked pasta tossed with olives and parsley Cook the pasta in the boiling stock until *al dente*. Drain. Reserve the stock for future use. Toss the hot, drained pasta with the remaining ingredients & serve immediately.
Abm-eggnog bread I adapted a recipe from my food processor bread book for my b/m for
the eggnog bread which you read about. Here is what I did; you may
need to make adaptations for whatever type of b/m you have. Play with
it, if it looks too sticky, add flour (1 t Eggnog bread pudding PREHEAT OVEN TO 350F 15 minutes before baking, with the rack in the center
of the oven. Butter a 6-cup souffle dish. Have a kettle of boiling water
ready and a baking pan large enough to hold the souffle dish. Whisk the
eggs, egg yolk and sugar Cooked wild rice Put the wild rice and water in a small sauce pan. Bring the water to a
boil, then reduce the heat to a bare simmer, cover and cook until the rice

know when it is about to appear on the table because the ginger and
garlic frying in the sauce smell so deliciously savoury.
