Company Chicken



Ingredients:
3 Pound(s) broiler-fryer; cut up
2 Tablespoon(s) bacon drippings
1/4 Cup(s) almonds, slivered
1/3 Cup(s) raisins
20 Ounce(s) pineapple chunks; drained
1/8 Teaspoon(s) cinnamon, ground
1/8 Teaspoon(s) clove, ground
1/8 Cup(s) flour, all-purpose
Directions: Sprinkle chicken with salt and cayenne; brown in hot bacon drippings in a large skillet. Combine next 6 ingredients, and pour over chicken. Cover and simmer 30 to 45 minutes or until tender. Remove chicken to serving platter. Combine flour and water, stirring until smooth; stir into pan drippings.
