2 Cup(s) Sugar
1 1/4 Teaspoon(s) Baking soda
1 Teaspoon(s) Salt
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Baking powder

3/4 Cup(s) Sour cream

4 Ounce(s) Unsweetened chocolate
Directions: Heat oven to 350F degrees. Grease and flour two 8 or 9-inch round cake pans; line bottom of pans with waxed paper. In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and baking powder; mix well. In a large bowl, combine all remaining ingredients; blend well. Add dry ingredients; blend a low speed until moistened. Beat 3 minutes at high speed. Pour batter into greased, floured and lined pans. Bake at 350F degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pans. Cool 1 hour or until completely cooled. Fill and frost as desired.
