Directions: Mix throughly shortening, sugar and eggs. Add corn syrup and chocolate.
Belnd well. Stir in flour, soda, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla. Chill dough.
Roll into 1-inch balls and then in sugar. Bake at 350F degrees for 12
minutes. Leave on pan to fall before removing.

Arrange dishes on baking sheet. Mix chocolate, butter, and preserves in
