Chocolate Oatmeal Drop Cookies



Ingredients:
1/2 Cup(s) butter or margarine

1 1/2 Cup(s) oatmeal
3/4 Teaspoon(s) vanilla
2 Ounce(s) chocolate, 2 squares
Directions: Cream butter and sugar together, add egg and melted chocolate. Beat well and add flour, oatmeal, salt and baking powder well mixed, alternately with milk. Add vanilla, and if desired, 1/2 c nuts. Drop on buttered baking sheet, 2" apart, bake in moderate oven, 12-15 minutes.
