Directions: In a deep pot heat the oil to a medium temperature, and add the chopped onion and the crushed garlic and cook until transparent not brown ;-) Afterwards, add the canned tomato, the passata, the vinegar, sugar, salt and freshly milled pepper. Stir well and let cook over medium heat for 30 minutes. After that, add the basil leaves and let to cook for another 10 minutes. Remove from the fire and blend well. Now it is ready to add to your favorite foods :-))
