Caramelized Onion Dip



Ingredients:
1 Tablespoon(s) Unsalted butter
1 Tablespoon(s) Peanut oil
1 large red onion, sliced
1/2 Cup(s) Sour cream
1/2 Cup(s) Mayonnaise
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Salt
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Cayenne pepper
1 Teaspoon(s) Red pepper flakes
1/8 Teaspoon(s) Tabasco sauce
Directions: Saute onion in butter and oil until caramelized (golden brown), about 20 minutes. Cool and combine the remaining ingredients. Mix well and chill for at least 1 hour. Serve with crackers or chips.
