Brown rice and chopped meat Heat fat in skillet, add rice, onion, tomatoes and salt. Cover skillet and cook over low heat for 45-50 minutes or until rice is tender. Stir in cooked meat and cook until meat is heated through.
NOTE: Brown rice is raw rice which has not been polished to Winter greens with cranberry-port vinaigrette Combine Port and shallots in heavy small saucepan. Boil until liquid is reduced to 2 tablespoons, about 10 minutes. Add cranberries, oil and vinegar. Boil 3 minutes. Season vinaigrette with salt and pepper. Let cool slightly.
Combine greens in large bowl. Rice with spinach herbs & cheese PREHEAT OVEN TO 350F. Cook rice in salted water until tender but still
undercooked (15 minutes for white rice, 30 minutes for brown). Drain, rinse
with cold water, drain again and set aside. Wash spinach and remove stems.

1/2 c Water
1 c Granulated sugar
PICK OVER THE CRANBERRIES and wash the orange. Zest the orange, making
certain not to take in any of the bitter white pith. Juice the orange Adelyne's cranberry mold 1. Heat and drain the cranberries, reserve the juice.
2. Make jello with juice and boiling water.
3. Chill until slightly molded.
4. Add mayonnaise and beat until smooth.
5. Add cranberries, apples, and nuts. Chill until firm.
Chicken & rice Preheat oven to broil. Place chicken in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. In a small bowl combine half the amount of all seasonings. Sprinkle over chicken, coating both sides. Place chicken under broiler for 10 minutes, or until browned and crispy. In a medium b Burmese-style coconut spiced fruit rice Combine oil, onion and 2 tablespoons water in large non-stick skillet. Cook
over high heat, stirring occasionally, until water evaporates and onion

and butter in a large skillet. Add the eggplant and onion, salt them
lightly, and rapidly saute th Cajun red beans and rice Rinse beans & drain well. Cook in 5 cups of water for 50 minutes or until
tender, with the bay leaves.
Add onion, thyme, garlic, parsley, green pepper & salt to pot, simmer over
medium low heat for 15 to 20 minutes. Add miso & sim Broccoli-rice casserole #2 Saute onion, celery and mushrooms in oleo until soft. Set aside. Heat
soups and Cheez Whiz. Add rice and broccoli to vegetables. Add soup
mixture. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350 F. for 25 minutes.
Sour cream stuffing Cook celery and onion in fat until tender.
Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Makes approximately 1 qt. stuffing.
