Directions: Stir together flour, cornmeal, baking soda, and salt.
Cream buttermilk and Crisco.
Add buttermilk mixture and the dry ingredients.
Stir
until well mixed.
Put into a greased 9 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.
Bake at 425° for 20 to 25 minutes or until center springs back to touch.
