2 353/1017 Pound(s) sugar
Directions: In a large pot, combine apple juice, candies and Sure-Jell. Bring mixture to a full rolling boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Stir in sugar, all at once; return to a full rolling boil. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat; skim off any foam and undissolved candies. Pour hot liquid into hot jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace. Adjust caps. Process for 5 minutes in a boiling-water bath. You can also just put a piece of plastic wrap on the surface of the jam before you put on the lids and freeze the jars. Yield: 6 half-pints.
