Directions: Mix together applesauce, brown sugar, salt, heavy cream, squash,
nutmeg, 4 tablespoons of the melted butter,and eggs. Place in
buttered 1 1/2 quart shallow casserole dish. Mix together bread
crumbs, remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, and the almonds. Sprinkle
over squash. Bake uncovered for 35 minutes at 375 F. Serves 6 to 8.
