Directions: Just got back from the Disney Institute again and as always, I had a marvelous time. You guys have got to go! I took: Imagineering!, Radio Drama, Outdoor Photography, Celebrations!, Boxing Aerobics, Animation Sampler, Romantic Dinners, Canoe Adventures and Taste of the Word: Bayou.
Celebrations: Holiday Brunch: Celebrations is a class that shows you how to have a dining event that not only tastes good and looks good but is generally enjoyable. Fitting with the holiday season, we worked on a holiday brunch. Aside from these recipes, we learned about table presentation, planning and tricks to make the event memorable. We also created several types of food related decorations.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Separate strips of bacon and coat with brown sugar and fold each piece on an angle (to make a sort of V shape). Place on parchment paper and bake in oven 8-10 minutes until crisp. remove and let cool on another piece of parchment paper. Transfer to another platter once bacon hardens.
This can be made early in the day and served at room temperature.
Hint: If brown sugar is hard, place in microwave for about 30 seconds to soften.

chill. bring to room temp before Sugar cookie frosting Bring cream and sugar to a boil and boil for one minute. Let cool completely. Add powdered sugar and beat until thick and at the consistency you desire. It should use between 3 and 4 cups. Add coloring and frost.

3 c cheddar cheese,finely grat Dandelion salad with hot bacon dressing Tear the washed greens as you would for any garden salad and place in a bowl.
Fry the bacon until crisp (or used pre-cooked bacon or bacon pieces). Remove and drain on paper towels, saving the fat for the dreassing.
Boil 4 of the eggs for 15 minutes. Then Bacon and onion muffins Fry bacon until crisp in skillet. Remove with slotted spoon and drain on
paper towels.
Saute onion in 1 T bacon drippings until tender (do not brown). Set aside
to cool.
Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large mixing
bowl.
Comb Brown sugar sticky rolls Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over bottom of greased 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Pour cream evenly over brown sugar. Reserve.
Fit processor with steel blade. Measure 6 tablespoons of the sugar, 1 tablespoon of the butter and cinnamon into work bowl. Process on Valentine sugar cookies When working with differently shaped cookie cutters, make sure that the
cookies on each cookie sheet are the same shape to ensure even baking.

In the fat remaining in the skillet cook the shallot and the apple over moderate heat, Belgian chocolate cheesecake (sugar free) Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Place the cookies in a food processor and pulse with the butter until you have fine, moist crumbs. Press evenly into an 8-in springform pan or pie plate and bake 10 to 12 minutes, until the crust
just starts to color.
Cool Hash brown casserole 1. Preheat oven to 350F. Spray a 2 quart baking dish with nonstick
spray.
2. In a large bowl, combine the potatoes, milk, sour cream, cheese
and 2 tablespoons of the melted margarine. Stir gently until well

Brown sugar frosting #2 Melt butter and add brown sugar and milk. Boil 1 minute and add the vanilla and the powdered sugar. Mix and put on favorite cake or brownies.
