1/2 Cup(s) Sugar
4 Cup(s) Berries of your choice
1 Cup(s) Flour, all-purpose
1 1/2 Teaspoon(s) Baking powder
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Salt
1/2 Cup(s) Milk
1/4 Cup(s) Butter, softened
Directions: Preheat oven to 375F degrees. Sprinkle the 1/2 cup of sugar on the berries and place them in the bottom of a 2-quart baking dish. Combine the flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the milk and butter, and beat well. Spoon the batter over the berries. Sprinkle nutmeg on top. Bake for 45 minutes, until golden.
