Beef'N Biscuit Casserole



Ingredients:
1 Pound(s) ground beef chuck roast
1/2 chopped onion
1/4 green bell pepper
1 Can(s) 8oz. tomato sauce
1/3 Ounce(s) chili powder
163/1250 Ounce(s) garlic salt
1 Can(s) 8oz buttermilk or country style biscuits
326/625 Pound(s) shredded, cheddar or monterey jack cheese
4 Ounce(s) sour cream
1 slightly beaten egg
Directions: Brown beef, onion and green pepper in pan; drain. Stir in tomato sauce, chili powder and garlic salt. Simmer while preparing dough. Separate biscuit dough into 10 biscuits; pull each apart into 2 layers. Press 10 biscuit layers over the bottom of a ungreased 8 or 9 inch square baking pan. Combine 1/2 of the cheese, sour cream and egg; mix ell. Remove meat mixture from heat; stir in sour cream mixture. Spoon over dough. Arrange remaining biscuits on top. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 275 deg for 25 to 30 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown.
