Directions: In medium bowl. beat butter, sugar, and vanilla until light and
creamy. Slowly beat in flour. On lightly floured surface, roll to
1/8-inch thickness. Use star cookie cutters to cut out cookies. Place
on lightly greased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degre
es Fahrenheit for
8 to 11 minutes or until edges just begin to brown. Let cool on
baking sheets for 10 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
To Tint: For each cup of dough, knead in 8 to 10
drops of food color.

Carrot cake cookies 1. Preheat oven to 350°. Line two baking sheets with Silpat baking mats or parchment paper, and set aside. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine sugars and butter; beat until light and fluffy, 3 to 4 minutes. Add eg Basic pizza dough Mix yeast and water to dissolve.
Start with dry ingredients; add water and olive oil. Stir into a dough.
Knead until elastic.
Oil a large bowl. Put dough in bowl and cover. Let rise for 1 1/2 to 2
hours.
Bake pizzas at 425F .
