Barbequed Sauerkraut



Ingredients:
1/2 Cup(s) Chopped Onion
1 Tablespoon(s) Butter
5 Strips Bacon, cut up
16 Ounce(s) Can Tomatoes, diced
16 Ounce(s) Can Sauerkraut, well drained
3/4 Cup(s) Brown Sugar
Directions: In a small skillet, saute onion with bacon. In a 2 quart casserole dish, combine kraut, tomatoes, brown sugar, bacon and onion (add polish sausage if desired). Bake uncovered, for 1-2 hours in a 350 degree oven. Casserole should look caramelly around the edges. Serves 6-8.
