Barbecued Turkey Burgers



Ingredients:
1 Pound(s) ground turkey breast
1 large egg white
1 Pound(s) garlic
1 Ounce(s) dried oregano
1 dried thyme
1 Ounce(s) salt
4 pita bread
Directions: Prepare a charcoal grill for cooking or heat your broiler (or George Foreman Grill :-). In a large mixing bowl, use your hands to combine the ground turkey, egg white, garlic, oregano, thyme, and salt. Shape the meat into 4 patties, about 1 inch thick. Place on the grill and cover, or put under the broiler (or on the GFG). After 5 minutes, turn the burgers over to brown the other side (not with the GFG!). After 4 more minutes, stick a sharp knife into one of the burgers. If the juice runs clear, it's done. If the juice is still pink, give it another minute or 2 and test again. Serve in pita pockets or on hamburger buns with your favorite condiments and garnishes.
