Directions: Thaw frozen baklava, then bake in moderate over at 350F for about 45 min
to 1 hour, or until baklava is crisp and golden brown in color.
START THE SYRUP AT THE SAME TIME WHEN YOU PUT THE BAKLAVA IN THE OVEN. The
syrup will be cooling while the baklava is still baking.
Syrup:
Combine sugar and water, heat over medium heat and stir until sugar
dissolves. Add 1 tsp rose water. Let sit off heat until baklava is
finished baking.
Remove baklava from the oven and allow to cool 10 minutes before spooning
warm syrup over it. (baklava and syrup should be the same temperature at
this point)
Allow finished baklava to cool thoroughly.
