Directions: Cook milk and flour till thickens, let cool completely.
Cream shortening, sugar, salt and vanilla.
Pour cool milk mixture over ingredients and blend.
This lasts for months to use whenever and can be colored if needed. Does
not need to be refrigerated.
Keep in closed container.

Afghans w/ chocolate icing Afghans: Soften butter, add sugar and beat to a cream, add flour, cocoa and
lastly corn flakes. Put spoonfulls on a greased oven tray and bake about 15

Carrot pecan cake icing While at room temperature, blend together butter and cream cheese. Slowly
blend in confectioners sugar; add vanilla., coconut and pecans. Mixing
well. Frost the cake.

Preheat oven to 350F. Line 13x9x2-inch baking pan with aluminum foil,
leaving 2-inch overhang on both short sides. Spray foil with nonstick
spray. Combine both chocolates and butter in heavy small saucepan. Stir
over low heat until melted an Icing mix Mix margarine, cream cheese, confectioners sugar and vanilla to spread
consistency.
Spread on cake and sprinkle with chopped pecans or walnuts.

Royal icing (for gingerbread houses, etc) Beat egg whites in clean, large bowl with mixer at high speed until foamy
(use only grade A clean, uncracked eggs). Gradually add sugar and lemon
extract. Beat at high speed until thickened.
NOTE: When dry, Royal Icing is very hard and resistant to damage Icing, chocolate eclair Heat all icing ingredients in a saucepan until dissolved. This takes just a few minutes.
Cover up icing Beat Dream whip, milk and pudding mix until thick.
Spread over cake.
Sprinkle coconut and nuts over top.

Fairfax chocolate icing Mix chocolate, sugar and water together. Cook about 5 minutes. Remove from
heat, add marshmallows, butter and vanilla. Beat until thick enough to
spread.

Cake with caramel icing 1. Preheat oven to 350-F Grease three 9-inch-round cake pans. Line bottoms
with waxed paper. Grease paper, and flour insides of pans. Com- bine flour
and baking powder in bowl.
2. Beat butter and sugar in another bowl at medium speed until smooth. Broiled icing Mix all ingredients together and spread over cake while it is still warm.
Broil until it bubbles all over and becomes brown.
Boiled icing Heat all ingredients together. Let boil. Ice cake while cake is hot.

Brown sugar boiled icing Boil to-gether sugar and water until soft ball forms when tested in small amount of cold water. Beat egg whites stiff and gradually add syrup in a steady stream beating constantly, until frosting holds shape.Add salt and vanilla.
Warm soft chocolate cake (juliette's) Preheat oven to 450F . Butter four 4 oz molds with 1 T of the butter.
Dust each mold with 1 tsp of flour, tapping out excess, then put on a
baking sheet.
Put chocolate and the remaining 8 T of butter into the top of a double
boiler set over a pan of simm Madeleines (julie pastirjak) These little sponge cakes, immortalized by Marcel Proust in Remembrance of
Things Past, are at their most memorable when eaten as Proust himself liked
them, fresh from the oven, still warm and a little crisp on the outside.
As madeleines tend to dry out q Plain coconut icing Cook sugar, corn syrup and water to 248 degrees or until firm ball forms
when tried in cold water.
Add flavoring.
Let cool for 5 to 10 minutes, then poor slowly over the stiffly beaten
egg whites. Beat until it holds its shape.
Spread the layers Boiled icing #1 Boil butter, milk and sugar for 1 minute. Add coconut and nuts.
Pour over cake and brown lightly in oven.

Cocoa butter icing Sift sugar, add cocoa and mix well, add softened butter - cream well.
Add 1/4 cup boiling water to instant coffee. Add coffee to creamed
mixture and blend thoroughly. Ice only after cake is totally cold.
100% crunch (village bakery) Use the "extra kneed" process and add seed near end of the first kneed or
use the whole wheat setting and ad seeds at beeper.
NOTE: I used a combination of equal portions of sunflower, flaxseed, &
