Directions: Prepare mullet for baking by removing backbone, leaving it flat,
ready for stuffing, sewing or tying up. Make sure fish is cleaned,
scaled and washed
thoroughly with black parts rubbed off. Remove as
many bones as possible.
Combine stuffing ingredients and add oil. This keeps spaghetti
workable (soft) with other ingredients.
Fill fish with stuffing. Tie securely, use small skewers or sew up
sides of fish where necessary. Place fish on oiled baking dish and
place in hot oven. Reduce heat and cook slowly for 30-45 minutes,
according to fish size. Test to see if cooked. When cooked, remove
from oven and when cool enough to handle, remove string or other
securing device. This fish can be glazed with geletine or oyster
sauce.
Decorate with flair. This dish is very nice served with baked,
seasoned tomatoes topped with buttered breadcrumbs, onions and
braised celery.

Akotonshi (stuffed crabs) [I think this recipe assumes raw crabmeat to start, refer to instructions
below about boiling crab meat and alter technique if using pre-cooked crab
meat, perhaps by just boiling some ginger and cloves in small amount of
water and adding a bit to Cucumber-stuffed tomatoes Remove stems from tomatoes. Cut thin slice off bottom of each tomato. With small spoon or melon baller, carefully hollow out tomato, leaving 1/8-inch shell. Invert tomato shells on paper towels to drain. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese and mayonnais Broccoli stuffed tomatoes Cut each tomato into 5 wedges, leaving connected at base. In a
covered saucepan, over medium heat, steam broccoli in 1/2 cup
water for 2 minutes. Drain and combine with remaining ingredients.
Spoon equal amounts into each tomato. Press tomato wedg Greek stuffed footballs Bring 3/4 C. Water To A Boil in A Saucepan. Stir in Rice. Cover, Reduce Heat & Simmer 40 Min. Mix first 8 ingredients until combined. Fold in egg whites.
Place mixture in oven proof pan inside a larger pan that can be filled with
boiling water. Fill the water to half way up the oven proof pan. Bake
for 50-60 minutes or un Baked stuffed peppers Cook rice in 1-1/2 cups boiling salted water for 35 minutes or until
tender. Drain if necessary. Set aside.
Cut peppers in half. Remove seeds and white membrane. Parboil peppers

caps. Finely chop enough stems to measure 1/3 cup. Reserve mushroom caps.
Melt 2 tablespoons margarine in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Cook

saucepan. Stir over low heat until warm, about six
minutes. Spoon into a greased 1-1/2-quart casserole.
Brush tops and sides of rolls with margarine and place
