Whole-wheat bagel bread 3 c whole-wheat flour 2 ts salt 3 tb honey 1 c warm water
For Panasonic/National machines, use 3 teaspoons of yeast for 1 1/2 pound
loaf.
Combine ingredients according to manufacturer's directions.
Bagel sandwiches
Apple bagel broil Lightly toast bagel and spread with butter or margarine while still hot.
Top each bagel with apple slices and sprinkle with sinnamon sugar. Place
cheese slices on each bagel and broil until cheese is bubbly. Makes 2 half
bagels.
Bagel sandwich 1. Cut bagel in half and toast.
2. Add cream cheese to one side of bagel, and grape jelly to the other.
3. Assemble into a sandwich and eat!
Bagel bread Although the bread machine cannot, by itself, make a bagel-textured
bread, by putting my favorite bagel toppings into the dough, I can at least
approximate the flavor of a chewy New York Bagel. Serve this one with
smoked salmon and cream cheese f
