No bake blueberry pie Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Place thawed pie crust in a 9-inch pan and
bake blind; according to directions on package. Place on a rack and let
cool. Fill pastry shell with 3 cups of the blueberries. In a pan, crush
remaining 1 cup berries and stir in Beef and bean bake #1 Cover beans with water and bring to boil.reduce and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat .Let stand hour.

Medium Saucepan. Bring To A Boil Over High Creamy hashbrown bake In a large bowl, combine the soups, sour cream, butter, onion and salt. Add potatoes; mix well. Pour into a grease 13-in X 9-in X 2-in baking dish. Sprinkle with hpotato chips. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 55-60 minutes or until the potatoes are tender Caraway turkey-noodle bake 1. Preheat oven to 4000F~ Cook noodles with cabbage and carrots according
to noodle package directions; drain.
2. Meanwhile, in bowl, combine turkey, gravy, sour cream, bacon, mustard
and caraway. Add noodle mixture; toss. Spoon into 2-quart casse Alaskan fish bake 1. Gently boil carrot, celery, onion and bouillon in water in pot, covered,
10 minutes. Stir in rice and margarine. Simmer, covered, 20 minutes (not
all liquid will be absorbed). 2. Combine flour, garlic salt, dill and onion

Break the eggs, about 2 inches apart, into sauce in Broccoli with mustard sauce In a small heavy saucepan combine egg yolks, water, mustard, vinegar,
sugar, and seasoned salt. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly,
about 5 minutes or until mixture is thickened. Remove from heat.
Blend in the garlic. Cool mixture thoroughly Broccoli-ham soup In a 3-quart saucepan cook the chopped onion in butter or margarine
until tender but not brown. Stir in flour, bouillon, mustard, thyme, and
pepper. Add milk and water all at once. Cook and stir over medium-high
heat until thickened and bubbly.
Beef barley soup Layer in a slowcooker. Cover with 5 cups of water. Do not stir. Cook 9-11 hours.
Impossible broccoli-cheese pie Trim off large leaves of broccoli. Remove tough ends of lower
stalks, and wash broccoli thoroughly; cut flowerets and stems into
thin slices.
Combine broccoli, onion, and 1/4 cup water in a saucepan; cover and
cook over medium heat 6 to 8 m Eggplant-macaroni bake 1. In a large pot of boiling water, cook macaroni 8-10 minutes, just until
tender. Drain, and reserve 1/4 cup of the cooking liquid. Place cooking
liquid in a large bowl, stir in Parmesan cheese, scal- lions, oil, and

Drizzle margarine over the top.
Bake at 350 for 55 min. or until golden brown on top

bubbl Deli brisket bake Place brisket on aluminum foil. Spread each side of the brisket with
prepared mustard and whole mixed pickling spices. Wrap foil tightly
around brisket and place in 8 x 10 baking dish. Bake in slow oven (225
degrees F.) 3 1/2 hours or until done. Remo Mexican beans and barley Preheat oven to 400 F. Put the water, onion, oil, chilis, chili powder,
cumin and sea salt in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil and add the
Bits-O-Barley. Cover and let stand away from heat until all the liquid is
absorbed into the barley. Cream of broccoli soup Trim broccoli and cut into one-half inch thick slices. Steam in salted water until tender.
In large sauce pan, melt butter and saute onions, celery and garlic until brown.
Stir flour gradually into butter mixture. Add milk slowly, then add chicken broth a Broccoli-rice bake Saute onion in butter until transparent. Add frozen broccoli, cooking over
low heat until broccoli is tender. Add chicken soup, Cheese Whiz and rice.
Pour into 3-quart casserole. Heat in 350 oven for about 25 minutes or until
bubbly. Serves 14-16. Celery and cabbage bake Bring water to boil in large pot. Add cabbage, celery, salt &
caraway. Boil 5 min, drain well. Sauce: melt butter, add flour &
cook, stirring 1 min. Slowly add milk in stream, stirring
continuosly till sauc Hungarian barley stew in 4-quart saucepan or Dutch oven, brown meat in oil. Add onion and
garlic. Cook until onion is tender; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients
except sour cream. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover. Simmer
45 to 50 minutes or until m Yeast free chicken barley soup Place chicken in soup pot. Fill 3/4 ful with water. Add bay leaves,
basil, garlic and parsley. Cover, bring to a boil, and simmer 1 hour.
Meanwhile, prepare vegetables. sEt aside. When chicken is tender, remove
from pot, let cool and remove No-bake cherry crispes Beat butter, powdered sugar and peanut butter in large bowl; stir in cereal, cherries, chocolate chips and pecans; mix well. Shape teaspoonfuls of dough into 1" balls, roll in coconut and place on cookie sheets, chill in refrigerator for 1 hour. St Sweet potato chicken barley soup In a large heavylined stock pot heat the olive oil, add garlic, onions, celery and carrot and saute 8 minutes. Add the parsnips, barley, chicken and chicken stock. Bring to a boil and simmer on medium-high heat for 30 minutes. Add the sweet potatoes and c Armenian barley and yoghurt soup Place the barley and the broth in a soup kettle and cook for a few minutes. Peel and chop the onion; saute in butter until it is golden and transparent. Add to the soup kettle, together with the mint, parsley, salt and pepper.

Grease 8" pie plate. In double boiler, melt chocolate and butter; stir to
blend. Combine milk and sugar; stir into chocolate mixture. Add coconut-
mix well. Press to bottom and sides of pie plate. Refrigerate, to ma Broccoli quiche or canapes *Note: Knorr leek soup mix makes a good substitute. The asparagus soup mix
is difficult to find. If using the leek soup mix, reduce the amount of
chopped green onions slightly.

For quiche: Pour int Broccoli-spaghetti casserole Cook onions in butter 5 minutes. Add broccoli, place lid on pan & cook
until just barely tender. Grease oblong shallow baking dish. Place cooked
spaghetti on bottom. Spread broccoli & onion mixture on top & pour cream
over all. Place c Baked chicken and broccoli tortillas Combine soup, milk, mustard and tarragon. Stir in chicken, broccoli and
green onion. Spoon about 1/2 cup mixture into centre of each tortilla. Fold
in sides and roll up. Place, seam side down, in greased 12x8x1 3/4-inch
(30x20x4.5cm) baking dish. Ba Barley stuffed green peppers Preheat oven to 350F. Heat the oil in a large skillet. Add mushrooms
and onions and cook, stirring until the onions are browned. Stir in
the barley, parsley, thyme and pepper(ground). Stir in the cheese; set
aside. Rinse the bell peppers. Cut o Chocolate no bake cookies Mix butter, sugar, water and cocoa together, bring to a boil for 30
seconds. Remove from heat and add peanut butter, oatmeal or coconut.
Drop on wax paper and let harden.

Shrimp and noodle bake Bring water to a boil; add shrimp, and cook 3 minutes or until shrimp begin to turn pink. Drain well; rinse with cold water. Chill. Peel and devein shrimp. Chop half of shrimp, leaving remaining shrimp whole. Set aside.
Cook noodles according to directio Walnut barley Rinse barley under warm running water. Let drain. In a medium-size saucepan, bring to a boil and gradually add barley. Cover and cook 20 to 25 minutes, Return barley to saucepan with celery, nut, salt and pepper; heat through. Garnish with parsley.
No bake cookies Mix well and drop onto cookie sheet to cool. Walnuts or coconut
may be added.

Hearty eggplant-barley bake In a large no-stick frying pan over medium heat, saute onions, mushrooms,
peppers, and garlic in 1 tbs. water until softened, about 5 minutes. Add
eggplant and 2 tbsp. water; saute until softened, about 10 minutes.
Add the tomatoes (with their Lemon barley water Put the barley & water into a pan, bring to a boil & then cover &
simmer for 30 minutes. Strain the liquid into a large jug.
Peel the lemons very thinly without any white pith. Remove the pith
from the lemons & slice the fruit Barley soup with ham Put the oil and onion in a soup kettle, set over low heat, and cook
until the onions are softened, about 5 minutes. Raise heat to
medium, stir in the garlic and carrots, and stir-cook for one minute.
Add the celery and stir-cok for a minute. Karen's egg bake beat eggs lightly
add all ingredients except bacon to baking dish
lightly cook bacon and top it
let sit overnight if you want
bake 350 for 35-45 minutes and let sit for 10 minutes afterwards. Cut and serve
Brown lentil bake with pineapple 1. Preheat the oven To 350 F.
2. Heat the Oil in a Large Sauce Pan and Saute the Onion for 10 Min. until Soft and Lightly Browned, Stirring Occasionally.
3. Add the Garlic, Lentils, Parsley, Mixed With Herbs and Soy Sauce. Mash By Hand or Puree Roughly Barley with vegetables (cooked in a rice cooker) Put all in rice cooker and stir. Put on cover and turn to COOK. Will be ready in about 45 minutes. Can probably do this on the stove as well. Just bring to a boil, turn down to low and simmer for 45 minutes.
Broccoli cheese soup Place the broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes and broth in a large pot. Bring to a boil, then
lower the heat and simmer for 40 minutes. Add the cheese and let it melt as you stir it. Mash the vegatables if desired.
Bits of sunshine Melt margarine and remove from heat. Add grated cheese. Stir and
cool 2 minutes. Add sour cream and mix well. Stir in flour. Fill
greased miniature muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake at 350 degrees for
20-25 minutes. Yield: 48 miniature muffins. Chicken with broccoli and ziti Cut up 4 chicken breasts into strips. Saute until lightly browned in olive oil, salt, pepper, and ga
rlic salt.
Add 2 cups broccoli florets for 1 minute.
Add 1/4 cup milk and 1/2 bad of parmesan shredded cheese.
Meanwhile: Boil 1/2 pound of ziti.
Drain an Ham & potato bake Heat oven to 350o. In medium saucepan, heat cheese and cream,
stirring constantly, until cheese melts and sauce is creamy. Remove from
heat. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into ungreased 1 1/2 quart
casserole. Cover tightly. Bake 45 minutes.
Sou Bits-o-barley cranberry dessert Bring first six ingredients to a boil, then cover, remove from heat and
let stand until all the juice is absorbed. Add honey, blend well. Serve
warm or cold.

Reprinted by permissio Spam broccoli pecan salad In skillet, saute SPAM over medium heat until lightly browned. In large bowl, combine broccoli, SPAM, cheese, and radishes. In small bowl, combine vinegar, oil, sugar, garlic, and dry mustard. Toss dressing with SPAM mixture. Cover and chill 1 hour. Befor Hot potato and broccoli salad Cook potatoes until tender, then dice; cook broccoli until tender.
Keep both hot. Combine remaining ingredients. Bring to boil,
stirring. Pour over the vegetables and toss gently. (May be served hot
or cold.) Cal: 160, Fat: 2g.
Chicken reuben bake Place chicken in slow cooker.
Layer sauerkraut over chicken.
Add cheese.
Top with salad dressing.
Sprinkle with parsley.
Cover. Cook on low 6-8 hours.
