of the ingredients and bring to a boil then turn down heat and simmer until
barley is cooked.

brisket. Let marinate for several hours, or overnight if possible. Also,
use this marinade as a basting sauce.

Mix together the sesame seends, garlc, ginger, soy sauce and cayenne pepper.
Stir into the beef with wooden spoon pressing well with the back of the spoon.
Heat the oil and stir fry meat for one minte.

cups. Dust with flour; shake out excess. Place dishes in roasting pan.

3. In a small mixing bowl combine mayo dressing, milk, mustard and caraway seed.
4. Saucy scalloped beef or turkey pie 1) Cook potatoes according to stovetop or microwave package directions.
Meanwhile in a medium bowl combine chili sauce and italian seasoning:
Divide chili sauce mixture in half.
2) In a large bowl, combine 1/2 of the chili sauce mixture, ground beef or
tu Hearty beef and barley soup #1 Heat oil in large sauce pan or dutch oven until hot, add stew meat and brown on all sides. drain

Spice rub for beef steaks Grind spices and garlic in a mortar with pestle. When finely ground, work
in oil and cognac. Rub over both sides of steak and let marinate for 1 to
2 hours at room temperature before grilling.
Yield: Enough for two 2-pound steaks.
Source: Sesame snow pea garnish Combine all ingredients in a small microwave-safe bowl. Toss to coat snow
peas. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and microwave 1 to 2 minutes, or
until snow peas are bright green and just tender. Arrange over top of
