vinegar, celery seeds and grated onion; shake or beat well. Chill.
Mix together all salad ingredients, except asparagus spears. Pour chilled
dressing over all and toss Winter salad with lemon-mint dressing Prepare the dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the garlic, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and pepper. Slowly add the olive oil, whisking until blended. Stir in the mint. Taste for seasoning.
Prepare the salad: In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, fenne Peruvian potato salad Wash then cook potatoes in boiling water about 30 minutes, or just
until tender. Drain peel, then cut into 1/4"-thick slivers; cool,
refrigerate.

Chopped vegetable salad In glass bowl combine the tomatoes, green pepper, cucumber, radishes,
scallions, parsley, and mint. In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon
juice, garlic, and salt and pepper to taste, add the oil in a slow stream,
whisking, until the dressing is Hot and cold salad sampler Heat oven to 450 degrees. Arrange potatoes on baking sheet; bake
until lightly browned and crisp, 20 to 25 minutes, as package
directs. Meanwhile, in small bowl mix sour cream and dressing to
blend thoroughly; set aside. Line four serving plates with l Wild rice and artichoke salad Rinse the wild rice in a strainer under cold running water. Put in a

2. Marinate beef in adobo sauce and vegetable oil, keep refrigerated until
ready to use.
3. To make salsa, combine wine, sugar, hibiscus, ginger and lemon in a

Reserve. Starting in a cold fry pan, cook bacon over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until almost crisp, about 5 minutes. Drain on paper towels; cool. Bayrischer kartoffelsalat (barvarian potato salad) Potatoes should be peeled and sliced 1/4-inch thick.
Chicken broth may be either home made or commercial.
Boil potatoes in broth with 1/4 t salt for 5 to 8 minutes, until tender. Drain. Toss warm potatoes with vegetable oil and onions. Dissolve Lentil, garbanzo bean and tomato salad Combine 2-1/2 cups water, lentils, diced carrots, and bay leaf in
heavy medium saucepan. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer
until lentils are just tender, about 25 minutes. Drain; transfer to

Mix all remaining Italian potato salad 1. Scrub potatoes; cut crosswise into 1/4 in. slices. Place in 1 1/2 qt.
microwave safe casserole. Add water and salt. Cover with lid. Microwave on
high for 9-10 min. or until potatoes are tender; stirring once. Drain and
cool.
2. Add onion Summer salad with blueberries In a small bowl, whisk together ginger, vinegar, lemon juice, and salt.
In a serving bowl, combine scallions, jicama, honeydew, bell pepper, and
blueberries. Pour ginger mixture over salad and toss to combine (can be
made 30 minutes before).
Just before Cucumber salad 1 Peel cucumbers, cut in half lengthwise and remove seed with a spoon. Slice
2 halves into thin crescents. Lay them on paper towels, sprinkle with
coarse salt and refrigerate, uncovered, for 1 hour.

containers (for brown ba Blueberry cream salad Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Set aside to cool. Stir in pie
filling and lemon juice. Chill till partially set. Spoon half the gelatin
mixture into an 8+1/2 by 4+1/2 by 2+1/2-inch loaf dish. Chill till set.
(Keep remaining gelatin at room temperat Sweet potato salad *** (dmdg94a) Peel and slice sweet potatoes and place in a small bowl. Add remaining
