12 apples; sliced thinly

2 pieces matzo; crumbled
1 Tablespoon(s) oil
1 raisins; optional

Directions: Preheat oven to 350F . Peel, core and thinly slice apples. Crumble the matzo in small pieces and mix it with the egg and a little bit of hot water to soften. Spread oil in bottom of rectangular pyrex baking dish so apples won't stick. Mix all ingredients and pour into glass dish. Drizzle with oil. Place in oven and bake covered for at least one hour. when apples are almost completely cooked, uncover for 20-30 minutes until desired brownness.
