Apple and cabbage appetizer SERVES 6-8 AS A VEGETABLE DISH
This is more typical of Pennsylvania Dutch cooking than anything else. The apples add a sweetness to the harsh taste of that old lifesaver, cabbage. This dish works well as an accompaniment to most meals.
Heat a large Dutch Skillet sausage and potatoes Note: Use the food processor to chop the pots and onions.
Pour 3T oil into a heavy 12" skillet; set over medium-high heat. Lift and
tilt to cover bottom of skillet with oil. Cook potatoes and onion,

turkey, and process until smooth. Scrape the mixture into a
medium-size bowl. Add the turkey and combine well with your hands

in onion, pepper and corned beef. Put mixture in an oven-proof dish,
preferably from which you'll be serving. Top with chopped pecans and bake

leaf, peppercorns, the one teaspoon salt and the water. Bring to a boil,
cover and simmer over low heat for about one hour, or until chicken is

Cut the knockwurst into small cubes. Mince the pickles and onion. Mix together the vinegar, mustard and oil. Add salt, pepper, paprika and sugar.

Cook spaghetti as package directs While spaghetti cooks, in large
skillet, cook sausage over medium-high heat, turning once, until

sides in frying pan. Since I got this recipe when my children were small I
usually used elbow macaroni, it's easier to eat.

Let millet cool down then add vegetables and spices.

pour around sausages. Bacon appetizer crescents PREHEAT oven to 375°F. Mix cream cheese, bacon, Parmesan cheese, onions, parsley and milk until well blended; set aside.
SEPARATE each can of dough into four rectangles; firmly press perforations together to seal. Spread each rectangle with 2 rounded tabl Sausage cheese balls Preheat oven to 375F degrees. Mix sausage, biscuit mix, cheese, onion,

shallow bowl. Add potatoes. Combine mustard, sour cream and chives,
and season to taste with lemon juice, salt and pepper.

round. Arrange 4-6 basil leaves over garlic. Top with 3 slices of tomatoes.

Make stuffing: Cut the sausage links into pieces. Heat the butter in a
