1/4 Quart(s) minus 1 tbls, skim milk
1/6 Ounce(s) almond extract
163/2500 Pound(s) sugar substitute

1 Ounce(s) extra virgin olive oil
Directions: Warm a large skillet (preferably cast-iron) over medium heat for about 5 minutes. In a shallow bowl, whisk egg, milk, and almond extract. Add sugar substitute, flour, nutmeg, and salt; whisk until smooth. Add 2 sliced of bread and let soag 30 seconds per side. Add 1 Tbsp oil to skillet. Cook two slices about 1 minute, 30 seconds on each side, or until golden brown. Repeat previous step for remaining slices and oil. Serve hot with sauce or sugar free syrup.

Warm Blueberry Syrup
3 Cup(s) stemmed and defrosted blueberries, frozen

Directions:
In a medium nonreactive saucepan over medium heat, combine the berries and sugar substitute. Bring to a boil, and cook 5 to 8 minutes, stirring often. The berries will burst and the sauce will thicken.
Remove from heat. Stir in the lime juice.
Taste and add more sugar substitte or juice, as desired.
Serve warm, or cover and refrigerate up to 2 days.
