Ingredients: 2 Cup(s) raisins -1 2 eggs; slightly beaten 3 1/2 Cup(s) flour, all-purpose 1 Teaspoon(s) soda 1/2 Teaspoon(s) nutmeg 1 Cup(s) pecans; or walnuts, chopped |
Directions: Combine raisins and water in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil, and
boil about 3 minutes. Cool. (Do not drain.)
Gradually add sugar to shortening, beating well after each addition.
Add eggs; beat well. Stir in raisins with liquid and vanilla.
Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to raisin mixture, stirring
after each addition. Stir in pecans.
Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto well-greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or unitl browned.

Almond double chip cookies Preheat oven to 375'F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or
leave ungreased. Beat butter and brown sugar in large bowl until
creamy. Beat in egg and almond extract. Combine flour, baking soda
and salt in small bowl. Blend in butter mixture. Sti Soft sugar cookies Have eggs and milk at room temperature. Cream sugar, eggs, salt
and shortening together. Add baking powder and vanilla. Add vinegar
to milk, dissolve soda in milk, add alternately with flour to creamed
mixture. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie Applesauce cocoa cookies 1/2 cup veg. shortening, softened 125 ml 1/3 cup granulated sugar

Using 2 dessert spoons ladle out 12 equals sized portions of dough Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies Mix well:
• 1 ? c. margarine ( 2 ? sticks)
• ? cup brown sugar
• ? cups sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 t. vanilla
Add:
• 1 ? cups flour
• 1 t. soda

molasses. Sift together the remaining ingredients. Stir into sugar
mixture. Shape dough into 3/4-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on
greased baking sheets. Flatten each ball with Pumpkin walnut cookies Cream margarine and sugar together. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Stir in pumpkin, vanilla, lemon peel and juice.
Sift together dry ingredients, blend into creamed mixture. Stir in walnuts.
