Directions: In a large pot or Dutch oven brown ground meat, stirring to break up meat.
drain excess grease. Stirin salt, celery, onion and green peppers. Cover,
simmer until vegetables are crisp-tender about 10 minutes. Remopve from
heat, set aside.
Ladle into six 2 cup freezer containers with tight fitting lids., leaving
1/2 iinch space at top of each. With a knife cut through mixture in each
container several times to remove air pockets. Label and date with
contents. Store in freezer. Use within 3 months.

salt, black pepper, and All purpose dry rub Mix all the spices together and store in an airtight container for up to 8
weeks. Great with ribs, brisket, and chicken.
Broiled open-faced crab-meat sandwiches Can be prepared in 45 minutes or less.
In a large skillet cook the bell peppers, the onion, and the garlic in the
butter over moderately low heat, stirring, until the vegetables are

Cajun meat loaf Combine the seasoning mix ingredients in a small bowl and set aside. Melt the butter in a 1-quart saucepan over medium heat. Add the onions, celery, bell peppers, green onions, garlic, Tabasco, Worcestershire and seasoning mix. Saute until mixture starts Kotlety pozharskie <ground chicken cutlets> Put 5 bread slices in abowl and pour in the milk. Soak the bread for
15 minutes. Squeeze the bread dry being careful not to tear it up.
Grind the chicken fine then combine with the bread slices. Gradually
beat in the 1/4 lb of butter that you have softene Carne gisada con papas (meat & potatoes) Cut round steak into cubes and brown in shortening in heavy skillet or
Dutch oven. Peel and cube potatoes (approximately in 1/2-inch cubes).
Once meat is slight browned add potatoes and continue to brown.
(Don't worry if it sticks to the Zucchini-layered meat loaf Prepare the basic meat loaf -- except spread 1/3 of the mixture evenly in an ungreased loaf pan, 9 X 5 X 3-inches. Sprinkle half each of the cheese, zucchini and pimento in layers, spreading the layers to within 1/2 inch of all sides of the pan. Repeat Meat marinade Mix together and let meat soak in it for at least 2-3 hours. We marinade steak overnight in this recipe. It may take multiplying this recipe a few times for more meat. I have never used it without multiplying it.
Barbecue meat loaf * Place all ingredients except beef in mixer bowl and mix at low speed
to blend well.
Add beef to catsup mixture and mix at low speed until blended. Do not
overmix. Shape into a loaf about 3 1/2" x 7". Place in a pan that has Barbecued meat loaf Put beef, onion, bread crumbs, egg, salt, pepper and 1/2 cup ketchup in
bowl. Mix lightly until well blended. Transfer to loaf pan. Mix remaining
ketchup, sugar, mustard and vinegar, pour on top of loaf. Bake at 350 for 1
hour. Let stand 5 minutes |
